The Civil Service Commissioners have submitted a Statement of Evidence to the Senior Salaries Review Body (SSRB).
The Senior Salaries Review Body provides independent advice to the Prime Minister, the Lord Chancellor and the Secretary of State for Defence on the remuneration of senior civil servants, judges and senior officers in the armed forces.
In addition to the Statement of Evidence, Janet Paraskeva, the First Civil Service Commissioner, gave oral evidence to SSRB on 12 November. She answered questions on the Commissioners’ experience of recruitment for senior post in the Civil Service during the year April 2007 to March 2008.
