Two new Civil Service Commissioners were appointed by Her Majesty the Queen on Wednesday 9 July after open competition.

Two new Civil Service Commissioners were appointed by Her Majesty the Queen on Wednesday 9 July after open competition.

Both of the new Commissioners, Professor Christine Hallett and Sir Neil McIntosh, are based in Scotland.

Sir Neil McIntosh will be Link Commissioner to the Scottish Government and will continue to build on the excellent work done by James Boyle in establishing close links with the devolved public institutions in Scotland. He will also be the Link Commissioner with the Northern Ireland Office.
