Janet Paraskeva gives evidence to inquiry on leaks and whistleblowing
Janet Paraskeva, the First Civil Service Commissioner, has given oral evidence to the Public Administration Select Committee’s (PASC) investigation into leaks and whistleblowing in Whitehall.
Janet appeared before the Committee on 5 March in support of the written evidence that the Commissioners had submitted to help the Committee with its enquiries. She stressed that the Commissioners support for PASC’s inquiry and outlined the Commissioners activity in helping departments promote the values in the Civil Service Code. She also explained the Commissioners’ role in hearing appeals from civil servants under the Civil Service Code.
